Inspiration

I love lighting that is unique and captures the imagination. Inspired by vintage styles, yet imitating the looks of today, are what my lamps are about. Giving a room the focal point it deserves while staying original.

'Marry' your light fixture to its surroundings

Here's an example of a gal that knew what she was doing when she purchased this beautiful light. Look at the decor of the room and see how this light fixture just blends in so well, it looks like its always 'belonged'. She chose an original, patina brass holder and socket shell. Then she wisely requested a new socket and wire for safety but to keep with the vintage style, she requested a vintage inspired paddle switch. I think it looks awesome. It doesn't over-power the space and just 'marries' in with its surroundings. Excellent choice Paris!

Minature Chandelier Shines Bright

This is a 'new' light I haven't even made available in my shop yet, but boy does it sparkle. Its like a minature chandelier!

Lights that Sparkle

When you need a good amount of illumination and you want some sparkle, choose vintage globes that have clear glass with lots of deep texture. This way, plenty of light shines through but it obscures the glare.
Here's what one of my customers said about her 'new' lights...
"The globes are all from vintage light fixtures and have been put on simple and clean pendants with wire. I love the way the different glass patterns radiate the light around the room." www.thesenseofplace.com

Expensive Industrial Inspiration

After finding this awesome looking pendant but then finding out the price...I decided it was time to 'take the look' as my inspiration and 'do my own thing'
What do you think?

Custom Request

Upon working with a wonderful gal, we came up with an awesome light fixture for her home. Our combined efforts of her choice of a unique, schoolhouse globe, and my creation of the holder to fit the globe, completed the look. It has the feel of a very expensive lamp, and yet we did it for a very reasonable price.
Helping others obtain the lighting for there home, warms me to the bone.

Industrial CRAZE!

The Industrial Look is HOT and I'm having loads of fun creating new and exciting lamps that suit the style. This one is named Limestone and features a wire cage with a clear, bare bulb. There is a single porcelain socket and finished with a metal canopy. See more of my designs at http://www.lampgoods.etsy.com
