Inspiration

I love lighting that is unique and captures the imagination. Inspired by vintage styles, yet imitating the looks of today, are what my lamps are about. Giving a room the focal point it deserves while staying original.

Did POTTERYBARN Copy my CHANDELIER?

Perhaps they did! Funny how I had mine out there for the 'public' eye and now PotteryBarn will have a 'version' of my canning jar chandelier available in October!?!?!?! Very interesting.
Tell me which you like better, theirs or mine? And I promise, you won't hurt my feelings.

How much light is needed?

Many times people ask me 'how much light do I need'? And I'm sure there is a scientific answer, but to me the question is so personal that I can't answer it.
Not only do you have the number of windows in the room, you have to think of the other lights you might be using, i.e. table and floor lamps. Also, how do you intend on using the room? Viewing TV in a brightly lit room, is not very pleasing to me, but either is trying to do a task without enough light. So, again it becomes a personal choice.

Fashion Designer's Choice

Clothing designer, jodi arnold, prepares for the opening of her second store location, this time in Brooklyn, NY. Chosen for its traditional styling to marry with the building's architectural elements, jodi selected the schoolhouse globe pendants to furnish her shop.
Jodi's design style has been snatched up by 'The Limited'. Here's what Jodi says about her work. "My design voice has always been inspired by my love of prints, patterns, and creating unique twists that are unexpected yet at the same time very wearable. I have done the same for The Limited but now at a price point that makes it more affordable to a broader audience."

Jupiter's Moons

Modern and contemporary, yet truly vintage, this pair of milkglass round globes are an exciting addition to any decor. Here's the customers comment about them...
"my lamps are awesome! they came with absolutely everything needed, and they were a breeze to install. every person who's seen them, comments on how unique they are!"...
Don't you think it would awesome to have a set of 5 or 7 of these 'floating' at different heights above a dining table?

Designer Selects Lighting for Her Own Kitchen

Keri Peterson of Kp Spaces in Seattle, decided to add lots of light and sparkle to her kitchen by selecting a pair of my halophane pendants. The clear, textured glass allows plenty of light for all the tasks accomplished in a kitchen. And the round design can easily marry with a variety of decorating styles. Its a wonderful fit for contemporary, modern or traditional decors.

New York Recording Studio

I'm so excited...my newest industrial creation has been snatched up by a recording studio in New York! This lamp is great by itself, but when I had the set finished and together, it was Awesome! In addition, I added the vintage inspired Edison 'Squirrel Cage' bare bulb and it popped. Though the Industrial look is not for everyone, it does fit well with both contemporary and vintage looks alike.
