Inspiration

I love lighting that is unique and captures the imagination. Inspired by vintage styles, yet imitating the looks of today, are what my lamps are about. Giving a room the focal point it deserves while staying original.

Don't COPY This POTTERYBARN!

Here's my version of the FIRST canning jar sconce ready for any country, cottage, rustic or transitional decor. I love it and many new clients are beginning to enjoy them in their homes as well. The glow of the light through the vintage canning jar with its raised lettering is so...'comfortable'. Then the original wire bale adds to the charm. The sconce has a warm, oiled-bronze finish. I also like the use of the pint jars for smaller areas.
Here's one of my favorite customers 'showing-off' her beautiful sconces in her master bedroom. Gorgeous!

Turn-a-bout is fair play Pottery Barn!

After seeing Pottery Barn's version of the canning jar chandelier, I had a client request some changes. So I thought, why not!?!? If Pottery Barn can take my idea, why can't I mimic them. My client wanted a smaller canopy, three true vintage jars, blue jars and a specific drop length. Now Pottery Barn's not going to do that for you. So here it is. I really like how this looks and can easily visualize it in a cottage or country home. But, if you don't like blue, I'm also introducing a clear canning jar chandelier that has lots of sparkle.

Did POTTERYBARN Copy my CHANDELIER?

Perhaps they did! Funny how I had mine out there for the 'public' eye and now PotteryBarn will have a 'version' of my canning jar chandelier available in October!?!?!?! Very interesting.
Tell me which you like better, theirs or mine? And I promise, you won't hurt my feelings.
