Inspiration

I love lighting that is unique and captures the imagination. Inspired by vintage styles, yet imitating the looks of today, are what my lamps are about. Giving a room the focal point it deserves while staying original.

Anything worth while takes time

When you put together a stunning kitchen like this one, it takes time, hardwork, and creativity. But most of all it takes a 'awesome eye' for design and details. Look at the beautiful textures and blends of finishes from metal tin to a distressed cabinets and seeded glass lights. Excellent vision by Michele & contractor, Tom Soper.

Bowling Alley???

Would you ever think of using the flooring from an old bowling alley to create a kitchen countertop? Well, this gal did and I think it looks awesome! And just think how durable it must be. Given an old home to renovate, many items were selected from years gone by. I think it helps to blend the two elements of 'old and new' together. Thanks for sharing Beth!

Client Driven

When this gal approached me for creating the lights for her entire house, I was honored and a 'tad' worried. But when they were all finished and installed, she was tickled and I had a new design. All because a customer had a vision and a need and she was willing to ask me if I could create it for her.
So, here's the new design of a single canning jar ceiling light. I love it and I've included some pictures from her home. Thanks Erin!

Divine Inspiration

For the past month, the Lord has been having several individuals contact me inquiring about creating a 'canning jar' ceiling fan light. So Lord, I finally listened and here it is.

When She Said.......I knew.....

You know sometimes your 'first' encounter with a person can make you realize you have found someone who really 'touches your heart'...This is what I discovered from my new friend in Christ after she wrote me these words...

"- you know that saying "when you love what you do you never have to work a day in your life"? what I think is: when you love what you do it become an open communication with the Lord. I see that in your work- good job giving His word a platform on your page!!!"

Simple can be SIMPLY PERFECT!

Sometimes keeping the lighting fixtures 'clean & simple' can really work to highlight the surroundings. This client made the perfect choice with these clear, porch globes I recreated to hang as pendants.

Look how well it works with the slate countertops and apron sink.

Adding Character to a New Addition

When everything around you is brand new, a room or home can look 'cold'. So this client added some wonderful 'warmth' and character to her new addition by choosing vintage inspired lighting. Great job Lynn!

Showing off my Canning Jar Lights

Once all the dust settles and everything is back in its place, it so enjoyable to sit back and appreciate all the hardwork and design decisions.

French or English?
The great thing about lighting is no matter what language you speak, lighting translates perfectly. Here my French speaking friend selected a wonderful variety of pendants to enhance her kitchen. Lovely!
